Bloodvine

Written by an architect, this family saga follows the fortunes of two brothers--Abe and Andy--who immigrate to California from Armenia after the Turkish massacres there. They try to make a living growing tomatoes, then diversify into vineyards, but the success of their ventures is undermined by Abe`s wife, who distrusts any form of Americanization and resents Andy`s non-Armenian wife.
